Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how UGC Closer (“UGC Closer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use our creator tools, publish a media kit, or purchase a subscription.
It does not govern a brand, social network, payment recipient, or other third party you interact with outside our service. Their privacy practices apply to information you give them directly.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, authentication information, account settings, subscription tier, and account status.
- Creator profile information: display name, biography, niches, platforms, social handles, creator stage, rates, contact email, headshot, work samples, and public media-kit preferences.
- Content you submit: prompts, brand messages, screenshots, deal details, scripts, pitches, generated responses, brands, invoices, and related notes.
- Usage and technical information: feature activity, generation counts, timestamps, device/browser information, IP address, session data, and diagnostic records needed to secure and operate the service.
- Billing information: plan, subscription, payment status, and transaction identifiers. Stripe processes card and bank-payment details; we do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Communications: information you send when requesting help, reporting a problem, or otherwise contacting us.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not necessary to use a feature, including government identifiers, financial account credentials, medical records, or another person's confidential data.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the service;
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- generate requested pitches, replies, analyses, scripts, and rate guidance;
- store creator profiles, work samples, brands, deals, and generations;
- process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, and provide billing support;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
- communicate about the service, policy changes, and account issues;
- comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify you.
AI processing
When you request an AI feature, the text, image, and relevant creator-profile context needed for that request may be sent to our AI service provider, currently OpenAI, to generate the response. Do not upload content you lack the right to process or share.
AI outputs and risk scores are automated estimates. We may store inputs and outputs in your account so you can revisit them, measure usage, troubleshoot failures, and improve the product. You can request deletion as described below.
Public media kits and uploads
A media kit is private until you choose to publish it. When published, its public link may display the profile fields, rates, contact email, headshot, social links, and work samples you selected. Anyone with the link can view and share that material.
Media uploaded for a published portfolio is served through public storage and may remain reachable from a previously shared direct file URL even after you remove it from the page. Do not publish confidential work, unreleased campaign assets, personal documents, or media you are not authorized to share.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and creator content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service. After account closure or a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify information unless retention is needed for billing, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
Backup copies and logs may persist for a limited period before being overwritten. Public links, cached copies, and material independently saved by others may remain outside our control.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can update most profile information in Settings, unpublish your media kit, remove portfolio items, and manage your subscription through the billing portal. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your personal information by emailing UGCCloser@gmail.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
International users and legal bases
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we rely on contractual and other recognized transfer safeguards.
For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, our legal bases may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect your device, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and paid accounts are intended for users who can legally enter a contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
Privacy requests and questions may be sent to UGCCloser@gmail.com. Include the email connected to your account and enough detail for us to understand the request.
